The Troubled Man
A man looks on in a forlorn daze;
eyes sunken like a slowly drying sponge
He sits alone at a table,
as mysterious as the closed book before him
His face is alit with emotion,
agony and doubt seeping from his every pore
It's plain to see that his life is as empty and withered
as the wilted flower on the table
This man is the epitome of sadness,
whose life is a dim, waning candle in an otherwise unforgiving world

Great job. You have a natural talent of writing and formating poetry. The combination of the two makes this poem very interesting to read. As well, I like how have effectively tied the message of the poem to its audience; this demonstrates a mature style of writing.
